Volleyball Programs this winter at Worcester County Recreation and Parks
Worcester County Recreation and Parks is offering youth volleyball programs at the Worcester County Recreation Center this winter season for every age.
After School Volleyball is open to grades kindergarten through third. This program is created to provide a place for young players to learn and practice skills needed to play the game of volleyball. This program’s goal is to prepare young athletes for higher levels of volleyball. Participants will meet on Mondays, January 7 through March 11, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation will be provided from Snow Hill Elementary to the Recreation Center upon request. The price for this program is $35 per child and $30 for each additional child.
Middle School Volleyball Skills Clinics is a NEW program available for those in fourth through eighth grade. This program will run on Tuesdays, January 15 through February 19, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each evening a different skill will be taught such as serving, hitting, attacking, and setting. The price per child is $35 and $30 for each additional child.
High School Volleyball is another NEW program that will be ran as a Drop-In. Anyone interested in 9th through 12th grade can come to the Worcester County Recreation Center courts on Fridays, January 4 through January 25, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Players of all levels are welcome and encouraged to come as a team or individually. The price is $3 per session.
