After School Youth Programs

Worcester County Recreation and Parks Department (WCRC) is once again launching its popular After School Sports programs for your children to enjoy during the spring season.

            After School Field Hockey is a program open to grades kindergarten through eighth. After School Field Hockey will be held on Thursdays, starting April 5th through May 10th, 2018. Your children will learn the basic skills and fundaments of field hockey in a safe and fun environment. They will be able to strengthen those abilities through drills and modified game play.             After School Tennis is returning also and is open to grades kindergarten through eighth. After School Tennis will take place on Mondays starting April 16th through – May 21st, 2018. Your child will learn fundamentals of this popular game and be able to practice and grow their tennis skills. The registration deadline is Thursday, April 5th, 2018.             After School Dodgeball is open to middle school students, grades fourth through eighth.  After School Dodgeball will take place on Tuesdays starting April 3rd through May 8th, 2018. Allow your child to participate in friendly competition while they enjoy both traditional and modified versions of the classic dodgeball game.             All After School Sports programs will take place at Worcester County Recreation Center (WCRC) just off of Highway 113 in Snow Hill, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on their respective days. Transportation from Snow Hill Elementary or Snow Hill Middle School to the Recreation Center will be provided for your convenience. Parents and guardians will need to pick up their children from the Recreation Center.

            The cost of each program is $30 per person and $25 for each additional child. Any registrations after the deadlines will be charged an additional $5 fee.
